In January of 2002, Barry N. Bitzegaio renewed his affiliation with Lorch & Naville where he had spent nearly 20 years prior to 1999. He primarily serves other attorneys who call on his expertise in bringing together clients and their respective attorneys on both sides of a case. A native of Terre Haute, IN, Mr. Bitzegaio is a graduate of Wabash College and a cum laude graduate of the Indiana University School of Law. He has been admitted to practice before the Indiana Supreme Court, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Tax Court. Hailed by Indiana Lawyer newspaper in 1998 as Indiana's Most Prolific Mediator, Mr. Bitzegaio conducted nearly 3,000 mediations and arbitrations in Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Missouri between 1992 and 2001. He also participated in numerous jury trials that went to verdict in state and federal courts of Indiana and Kentucky. Mr. Bitzegaio is a member of several bar associations, state and national professional entities, and the Board of Directors of the U.S. Federal Defender Project. He also has served as Panel Arbitrator and Panel Mediator for the American Arbitration Association's Large Complex Case Program.
